Shop Services are temporarily unavailable.
In late June 2025, a fire started by a short on an air compressor ravaged my workshop and sales area, leaving nothing but coal and memories.
This situation shifted my focus back towards prioritizing the production of kiln dried lumber until I am at a point where I can start looking for a suitable property onto which I can move my sawmill business.
At that point, I will start rebuilding a workshop in which to offer all the services I once did. This page remains on my site as a goal and reminder of what I want to achieve. When the time comes it will be relaunched with all appropriate updates and changes.
Thanks for all the support.

Slab flattening
All wood moves while drying. This means slabs will warp and twist a bit, and develop a less than flat surface that will need to be finish milled before becoming your perfect showpiece. For some pieces, a home shop planer may be all you need. For everything else, my flattening table systematically shaves the high spots down to a flush, dead flat surface.
My new surfacing table can handle slabs, counters and tabletops as wide as 48” and as long as 11ft to be able to surface any project you may have. A clean, sand-ready finish makes your life easier in the final steps of your build.
Low hourly rates mean that you’ll always find value in saving yourself the hassle of hand planing or setting up a router sled. And most slabs can be flattened in under an hour.
I offer flattening on any slabs purchased through me or elsewhere. Feel free to contact me with any questions or visit the price list to compare my rates

Trimming & Edging
Live edge isn’t for everyone.
some people love them, for everyone else, I can rip the edges off and square up slabs to be used for a wide array of purposes.
pair this with flattening service and your material will have the high dollar quality for my everyday low prices.

Joining Slabs
I work with a lot of craftsman and Do-It-yourselfer’s with minimal tools and space for big glue ups. Though I’m limited in the size I can join, I have helped several people create panels and tabletops with minimal seams visible.
whether bookmatching two slabs or paneling 1” boards, let me help you achieve your vision, and create your masterpiece.

Epoxy Services
Wood is arguably one of the most beautiful natural materials, but with all natural thing there can be some “flaws”. Cracks, voids, bark inclusions, Burl pits, etc. These characteristics all tell a story of the life of the tree and can be highlighted as features rather than be cast aside as defects.
These days, thanks to the availability of resin, no slab has to be passed over. You don’t have to trade character for structural soundness. Epoxy fills gaps and cures to make a slab solid and whole again to be used for a truly unique piece of furniture.
Epoxy has its drawbacks…. It’s expensive, it’s messy and comes with a steep learning curve that can intimidate the weekend woodworker. Let me help you skip the learning curve.
I can do simple fills of cracks, voids, and holes in slabs to get them ready for your project. Or maybe something a bit more advanced.
Want a river table? I can help. You can come choose your slabs and layout your design. We can mix and create your ideal color to perfectly stand out against the wood tones. Let me help you design your table top and then I’ll do the pour, demoed and flatten it. From there you can take over and trim, profile, and finish it yourself, or have me take it to final form.
